The site is back, now that the video card that was repeatedly crashing the machine has been extracted (with the assistance of a pair of oven mitts) and replaced; hopefully this will be the last of the hardware problems. I tend to wonder, though, if naming the machine Salvage might not end up becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. At the very least, it may be a theory which requires further exploration.
